Reihaneh Shariati is a painter who has been seeking her desire for art. Starting her professional career as a painter and her familiarity with master Fariborz Zarshenas and experiencing various styles has caused her to progress so fast. Attending well-known master of lithography, Mehrdad Khataie, was a spark to enflame her passion for art.

Certain symbols are evident in Reihaneh’s art. Presence of women, creation and civilization added a mysterious ambiguity that is rooted in artist’s social thoughts to her art. Whatever that captivates human’s soul is manifested in Reihaneh’s art; this indicates artist’s fine taste in picturing these engaging issues. In a collection which will be exhibited soon, Reihaneh Shariati is dealing with social issues again; while this time she is experiencing children’s difficulties. She talks about her new collection and says: “my awakened thought drove to the insanity of children. I have decided to do my very best in protecting these vulnerable creatures who may be harmed in this sick society.”
